Hello beautiful,
What is your skincare routine ? Cleanse, toner and moisturise? or added eye cream, essence/ serum? Or AN EXTRAORDINARY WATER ? Have your heard of a product that used after Toner and it claim to let prepare the skin by moisturising firming and toning before you apply any other skincare product. It is a product act like a boost. Does it really work ? Today I'm going to review a product from Melvita and it is called Extraordinary Water.
Melvita is a organic cosmetic with ecocert. It is founded in 1983 by biologist and beekeeper Bernard Chevilliat. In 2002, the Melvita laboratories and factory are among the first to be awarded with ecological and organic certification Ecocert.

Why choose organic ?

Meet Stringent standards

Organic certification is the public's assurance the products have been grown and handled according to strict procedures without persistent toxic chemicals inputs.

Protect your health

what you put on your skin eventually ends up in your body, certified organic products are made with ingredients that are grown on free of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, genetically modified organisms and harmful additives.

Better for your skin

Organic product are less likely to trigger any allergic reactions and other dermatological problems.

Better for the environment

Organic plants are grown without the use of genetically modified organisms, as they may pose a significant threat ti both human and environmental health. Through looking out for your own health, you're also helping to protect our fragile ecosystem. That is what they call a "win-win" situation.

Promote green lifestyle

when you say no to synthetic chemicals, not only are you protecting your health and nourishing your skin, you are also embracing a healthy and green organic lifestyle. People are increasingly choosing organic products because they want to support the positive benefits it brings to the environment.

Protect future generation

Before a mother first nurses her newborn, the toxic risk from pesticides has already begun. Studies show that infants are exposed to hundreds of harmful chemicals in utero and these pesticides can adversely affect the nervous system, increase the risk of cancer, and decrease fertility.

My ratings

Pros:

- lightweight watery gel type , easy to apply (either use a cotton pad or fingertips)
- pleasantly smell
- skin feel smoother after apply
- contain Hyaluronic acid act as a skin nourishing supplement
- more plump and hydrated appearance
- come in 3 different type for different skin condition
- Not oily suitable for any skin type
- Dermatological tested

Cons:

- contain parfum/fragrance
Overall, I think this added step to my own skincare routine would be beneficial, because I need hyaluronic acid to help me to plump my skin and lock the moisture of my skin. Beside that, my other skincare product glides on easily after I apply this extraordinary water. I do notice that it prove what it claims to prep my skin, it is different than what toner does because I notice that my skin look hydrated after application. I usually will do a lifting massage to my face while I'm applying this extraordinary water, my face firmed up. The only thing that I don't like is that it contain Parfum/ fragrance that the word parfum/ fragrance on the product label represent an undisclosed mixture of various scent chemicals and ingredients used as fragrance dispersants. Fragrance mixes have been associated allergies, dermatitis, respiratory distress and potent ion effects not he reproductive system. If you are concern with ingredients in your products, this is another ingredient that you might want to avoid for the best. Personally this product is a step for your skincare routine  that you can actually choose whether or not to use it , it would really based on your own opinion, if you want extra boost as a prep before you apply any other serum or moisturiser you can definitely try on this product.
So will you try on this Extraordinary water act as a boost to your skin and let your skin prep before applying other serum or moisturiser on your skin? Or you have been using this, share with me your thought :)
