23 Years Old Black Cavidiol Mask Review

Hi Beautiful, 
I plan to sleep early today but my skin has been acting very weird -dry skin and stubborn blackheads. So here I'm writing this middle of the night. I saw this mask in my mask lying around, so I thought best to use it before it expired. This is my first time trying out 23 years old mask. Mon Chéri Essentials White Lily Collection Skincare Set Review

Hello beautiful, 
 Today I'm going to share my review on a new skincare brand called Mon Chéri. 
Last month, I received Mon Chéri "normal and combination" basic skincare set and it is their latest collection- Le Fleur de Lis( lily collection). Their basic skincare comes with a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. The key ingredient in lily collection is white lily which has excellent moisturising and regenerating properties to hydrate, sooth and soften skin. It is selling for Rm280. 
This is the box packaging for Mon Chéri White Lily Normal to Combination skincare set. It come with this beautiful hard case box with a magnetic snap that you can reuse it as an organised box.
When you open up the box, it come with wrapper, they packed the product in such beautiful packaging, it really make me excited before I even try it out. They do put effort on making the product looks very pretty! Are you ready to see the individual box packaging ? 
Tadaa.. Check it out ! What do you think ? I really love the packaging, the packaging looks expensive and very attracting. It is also a hard case box, so you can reuse it to store anything you like. It can be a good storage for jewelries or travels size makeup brush. 
From left is the Gentle Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturiser. The product is in a plastic container. The brand logo and all the information is printed on the container. So let's get started with my review. 

Gentle Cleanser ( Normal and combination skin) 180ml RM80
This is the Gentle Cleanser for normal to combination skin. It is enriched with collagen and botanical extracts. It can remove dirts, oil, and other impurities from the skin. It also claimed that it can help to improve the overall skin appearance, texture and firmness. 



My review : 

Pros: 
- it is free from SLS( sodium lauryl sulfate)
- Don't have tight feeling after used, meaning not drying my skin. 
- skin feel soft, smooth and clean after cleanse
- great packaging, pump container easy to use 
- the scent give a very much like spa experience 

Con: 
- contain fragrance but still acceptable since it is a rinse-off product( the word fragrance appear on the ingredient list, it represent undisclosed various scent chemicals) 
Overall, this cleanser doesn't over drying my skin. Although it contains fragrance but as for rinse-off product the cause irritation is much lesser unless you have very sensitive skin. The texture of the product is watery gel. This cleanser doesn't foam up too much and it is only suitable only for normal use, which means it doesn't take off your make up. When you work on it, it doesn't give you thick bubble. It doesn't have strong scent but just right and gives you much like spa experience. My skin is soft and smooth after cleansing. You will love it if you looking for a gentle cleanser that doesn't give you a skin tight feeling or super clean feeling after cleanse. It comes with a safety cap, so you don't have to worry leakage during shipment. I like that they put the cleanser in a pump container, it is easier to use. 






Toner ( normal and combination skin ) 180ml  Rm96

This is the Toner for normal and combination skin. It contains herbal blends that claimed to help remove impurities and refine pores after cleansing. It also helps in preventing breakouts, leaving the skin smooth, supple and soft. 

 My review: 


Pros:
- Although contain alcohol, but my skin doesn't seem drying or over burning. 
- feel refresh
Cons:
- contain alcohol denat "Alcohol harms your skin’s protective barrier, triggers free-radical damage, makes oily skin and redness worse, and is best described as “pro-aging"
- Fragrance 
- cannot used around eye area ( irritating ingredients) 
- I do feel a little sticky after applying it on my skin 
- quite expensive

Overall, first impression- I don't like it because it contains alcohol.  But after used for weeks, my skin didn't react to any redness or sensitive or drying towards this product. I did feel a little tingling and burning sensation after every used. And also a little bit of stickiness on my skin. And I think for the price of RM96, this is an expensive toner.





Moisturiser ( normal and combination skin) 50ml Rm125

This moisturiser contains botanical ingredients with several moisturising agents, anti oxidants and vitamins. It claimed to help in maintaining the skin's suppleness, increasing moisture level and at th same time repairing the skin's cell tissue, while preventing anti-agin skin conditions. It is nourished with vitamins and agents to leave the skin feeling smooth and hydrated. 



My review: 


Pros: 
- I like the scent of this product much like spa experience 
- moisturised skin 
- smooth and soft skin after used 
- not feeling oily 


Con: 
- none

Overall, I like this moisturiser because it doesn't make me feel greasy or oily after apply. The texture of the product look like white glue, but it easy to work on the skin and quickly absorbing. It smell really relaxing. I felt a little tingling sensation after applying it on my skin it might because of the lactic acid. You will love it if you looking for fast absorbing and non greasy as well as nice scent of moisturiser that is suitable for normal and combination skin. It also contain Geranium oil that can balance oily and dry skin by balancing the production of sebum. 



A little bit about Mon Cherie: 
This is a brand from Malaysia but the products is formulated in French. Mon Chéri is a skincare line that encourages people to cherish their inner beauty and outer beauty, to be comfortable in their own skin and to be confident in parading their natural beauty. Mon Chéri product line consist of basic skincare for different types of skin, makeup remover, sun protection cream, lip balm, Aloe vera gel and lightener. Mon Chéri price range is from Rm22.80 -Rm280. You can purchase their product only through their website www.moncherieessential.com.

Vaseline New Body Serum Review

Hello beautiful, 

Last Thursday, I attended the launching of Vaseline New Body Serum Range at Sunway Resort Hotel. And the best part is where they let us enjoyed relaxing massage at Mandara spa and the therapist applied Vaseline Body Serum at the end of the session, surprisingly it doesn't feel oily and for my first impression I really do like it. Lately, I'm neglecting my body skin with my busy schedule. So you can imagine my cracking skin especially my legs.  The weather is so hot and I don't bother to apply any lotion because I'll ended up being fussy whole day because of the greasy feeling. 
These are the Vaseline Body Serum, from left Total Moisture Nourishing, Healthy White Spf 30 and Healthy White Perfect 10. I'm currently using the Total moisture Nourishing Serum ( for night) and also the Healthy White Spf30 PA++( for morning). 
Total Moisture Nourishing Serum contain concentrated oat extract and gives 10 times* the moisturising boost, keeping skin nourished all day. ( 10 times more oat extract as compared with vaseline total moisture nourishing lotion)
Healthy White SPF30 Serum  offers 3 times* skin fairness protection with its concentrated UVB and UVA formula while vitamin B3 helps to achieve lighter and brighter skin tone. *( compared to lotion without sunscreen and vitamin B3)  

Healthy White Perfect 10 Serum offers 10 times* the anti aging benefits thus keeping skin looking younger and fairer. *( anti aging ingredients vs Vaseline perfect 10 lotion) 

At the event, they prepared some test for us to prove that Vaseline will not leave the skin feeling sticky.  
We tested the moisture level, my skin moisture go from 30% up to 80% after I applied the Total Moisture Nourishing Serum. And we also tested out using the oil bloating paper, the test result showed that it didn't have any oil residue. I can feel it myself, completely no greasy feeling.

Then they also showed that how important is the skin to have SPF protection. Our skin will have wrinkles and dark spots, so to prevent it become worst day by day exposed to the UVA and UVB, we can apply the Healthy White Serum because it contain SPF 30PA++. If you want to let your skin to stay young and healthy you can use the Healthy white perfect, it contain anti aging benefits.

I'm using both the Vaseline Total Moisture nourishing Serum and also healthy white Spf 30PA++. Le's see my review after 5 days of using them. 
My review: 



Pros: 

- No sticky feeling
- Lightweight Formula
- smell nice 
- leaving my skin soft 
- can feel my skin is well moisturised throughout the day
- can reapply throughout the day
- suitable for those who dislike lotion

Con: 

-non 


Overall, I really like this body serum. First, it really prove to me that the claim of no stickiness after used is true. Within second it absorb to my skin and my skin is soft and moisturised. In the morning, although I'm not walking under the sun, but in car or just walking shaded places, my skin will be exposed to UVB and UVA so with super lightweight formula of Vaseline healthy white serum, I have no excuse not to apply a protection on my skin. At night, I'm sleeping with aircond, so I have to make sure my skin is not drying up and cracking up. I can't sleep well with oily lotion, so Total moisture serum definitely my choice for now. I highly recommended that  you try it out yourself if you are looking for body moisturiser that leave no sticky feeling.

Philips VisaPure is now available in Malaysia & Unboxing

Yesterday I was invited to Vila Manja Spa Kuala lumpur because Philips VisaPure is finally here in Malaysia.And I got the opportunity to know more about it and try it on myself at the Beauty Pampering session organized by Philips Malaysia. And I'm bringing home this baby as well. So today I'm going to do unboxing for you guys. I will do a full review on it after I tried it for a month, so stay tuned. 


What is Philips VisaPure?

Basically, it's a cleansing device that helps you to clean your face. And it can clean your face 10 times cleaner than using your hand.
Cleansing is the crucial step to helps our skin stay radiant , healthy and fresh. Without proper cleansing our skin will only be getting worse no matter how much product you put on. 

Suitable for ? 

It is suitable for everyone that want to achieve radiant, healthy and fresh skin. With proper cleansing, you can improve the skin texture and also achieving young looking skin. 

How does it look like? 



This is the VisaPure SC5275 model. 

It's in Peach colour. It has 2 speeds, gentle and deep cleansing speed. You can use it in the shower room because it is a waterproof device. It is rechargeable, and for 6 hours of charging it can be use for at least 3 weeks ( depends on 2 times a day of usage). It is cordless so no hassle while using. This set also come with a travel pouch. It has 2 years of warranty. This set is selling for Rm799. You can buy this at all major electrical or departmental stores. 

This is how the device look like, Peach colour , approximately 20cm long,  it's 150gram. The handle design is quite comfortable to use. 

Only come with one button. To on and off, press one time it will turn on the gentle speed, press again then it will change to deep cleansing speed. You press again then it will off. 

It will be working on 60 seconds per cleansing time. So every 20 second for each skin zone it will pause to indicate to change. It will automatically off once you done. 

To change the brush head, you can just simply pull it. 

For VisaPure SC5275, it come with 2 brush heads. The left side is for sensitive skin, the brush is softest among all brush heads. The right side is the normal one. They are made of synthetic material (nylon) . 


It also come with a travel pouch, to protect your VisaPure :)



 How to charge ?
Simply put in on the charging dock for 6 hours and it can last for at least 3 weeks.

This is the GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. 

How to use it? 

1. Cleanse your face
2. Apply it all over your face, don't rub it on your face. 
3. wait for 10 minutes
4. rinse it off with water, and do a gentle circular motion
5. follow by your skincare routine


The texture of the mud mask is sandy texture. You can see real fresh green tea leaves in the product as well.
Pros : 
- give instant result 
- suitable for all skin types
- suitable for men and women
- instant camera ready skin in 10 minutes you can see from my before after photo, no filter at all. I can see my skin is much smoother. 
- skin look freshen up after used
- Smoother skin after used, i can't stop touching my skin after I rinse off the mask
- softer skin after used
- Brighten up the skin 
- exfoliate the skin 
- I notice that it reduce the redness of my blemish the next day I wake up
- you can put it on your breakout for overnight as a treatment, it will reduce the redness and the heal the breakout. 
- I like the smell of it
Con: 
- Non, except the price is expensive but you get what you pay. I think the price for Rm240 still acceptable for such amazing product. 
Overall, I'm in love with this product. I agreed with the title of "world's best mask winner". It works as a mask, an exfoliator, and also a spot treatment. I was really WOW by this product, because I can feel and see my skin is becoming smoother and softer. Beside that my it also brighten up my complexion. I give it 5 out 5 ratings, because it's really proving all that it claimed to be, a "facial in a jar". If you don't have time to go for a facial treatment but you wanna have good skin for special occasion, you just put it on for 10 minutes, you going to get that instant smoother, brighter, and softer skin. If you put on makeup, the makeup will last longer and also you can get a flawless makeup look. I highly recommend this Glamglow mask if you are looking for instant result of mask. You can get sample from sephora if you want to try it out before committed to but the full sized product.

K- Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner Review

One of my makeup essential is Eyeliner. Eyeliner can instantly enhance the beauty of your eyes, you can even change eye shape and draw the illusion of bigger eyes. Today I'm going to review this New Super black eyeliner from K-Palette. 
This product claim that : 

-Easy To draw flat end Brush
A flat end brush liquid eyeliner that allows you to draw either thin or thick liners! Can easily create a line which is three times thicker than usual.
-WaterProof
Quick drying, water proof liquid eyeliner, highly resistant to water sweat and sebum. 

-Easy To Remove
Can be easily removed with lukewarm water despite its long lasting finish. 

-Contains Essence Ingredients
Sodium hyluronate, soluble collagen, swertia japonica Extract

Product Name: K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner SB01 Super Black

My review:

Pros: 
- is great for beginner on drawing liquid eyeliner
- flat end applicator, can easily achieve thin and thick line
- quick drying 5/5
- easy to remove 
- good colour pay off
- waterproof ( resistant to water and tears) 


cons: 
- quite expensive
- at least 2 coat to make fill up the colour 
- will smudge a little after few hours of using it ( but still acceptable) 



Overall, I like this eyeliner because of the design of the tips that can easily draw thin and thicker line.  And of course the colour pay off is great, you can get a very black eyeliner result . My eye lid is quite oily, this eyeliner only claim to be waterproof, which can resist water and tears. So it did smudge a little after wearing after 3 hours. I really recommend this for beginner that is learning to draw eyeliner.
